Can you believe that February is almost over!!??

Some slight new updates-

I have begun to take the reigns of more responsibility of my job here at Frontera de Cristo: as the "Mission Education Facilitator", I organize the schedules of groups that come to visit us, and then serve as their tour-guide/babysitter/translator/friend/leader while the groups are here. Just this past week I have started putting together schedules for groups who are coming down to join us, and it is definitely a whole new line of work for me....but so far I really like it.

I've always loved my own calendar, now it just has 7 different colors instead of 2.

As I'm sure many of you have seen in the news, the border of the United States and Mexico continues to be a very dangerous place for some people. CNN reported yesterday or the day before of 53 killings within a 72 hour time span in Ciudad Juarez. I can assure you all, that the most violence I see here in AP is between the stray dogs. Drugs are obvious, as are corrupt members of the police, and military presence, but I'm not in any danger here.

I went to a church service on Saturday night, and while a lot of the service was praise band singing, asking for money and donations, and announcements about some famous guy who's coming to preach, the sermon began like this,

"Who wants to see a drug free Agua Prieta?? Who wants to see a peaceful Mexico??"

The next step is just to make that happen.

I would love to answer ANY questions that readers of my blog have, please leave me comments and ask away!!
