I'm still here!!

Hello to my faithful readers- I was chastised by my parents on Skype tonight, saying that I have been a disappointment as a daughter in my lack of blog updates.

It's true. :) I have been insanely busy the last month and a half, and will continue to be up to my ears in work as we have groups coming in until after Easter. But for now, here's proof that I'm still alive!!

Unfortunately, I can't say that for all the members of the Frontera de Cristo family. This past Thursday, we lost Sister Vicky-wife and mother to good friends here in AP. We said our final goodbyes on Friday at a service, and continued working busier than ever.

Life here on the border has remained relatively quiet, thanks be to God. My dog, is now bigger than ever (he takes up all of my laundry basket, his favorite place to nap, whereas just a few weeks ago, he only filled 1/4 of the basket), and my 2 roommates and I have completely revamped our living space, so that now I have my own room! The privacy is...not so good, as my new wall is just some curtain liners hanging between walls, but it's still a space of my own.

The time has finally come that I miss home, and my family, and friends, and CPC a lot- I have gone to the CPC webpage a lot just to see what's happenin!
